Ospentos renew cooperation agreement with Finnair Cargo
Finnair Cargo and road feeder services (RFS) provider Ospentos have renewed their RFS agreement on 8th of January.
Both companies launched cooperation 14 years ago with Ospentos providing Finnair with air cargo and mail trucking across the Baltic states, Belarus and Ukraine, following cargo and mail handling in Tallinn international airport.
Throughout their long-term cooperation, technological innovation has been a top priority for both companies, with Ospentos providing full transparency andvisibility of its cargo handling processes, its trucks´ movement as well as real-time temperature overview of cargo shipments transported onboard Ospentos trucks across the Gulf of Finland to the Baltic States and back.
„With contract renewal we also hope to be contributing to the creation of stability (predictability) to otherwise very volatile markets disrupted by COVID-19 pandemics,” says Haiti Arendi, member of the board at Ospentos International.
“Delivering goods is no longer evident after the year of disruption with COVID and partnership is key to keep supply chains open” says Tommi Voss, Head of Cargo Operations of Finnair Cargo. “Only with trusted partners we can continue serving our customers now and in the future”.
Since its establishment in Tallinn in 2006, Ospentos International has been providing scheduled RFS service to a large portfolio of European and global airline customers as well as freight forwarding community. Investing heavily in its digital capabilities has enabled Tallinn-based company to provide highest quality and transparency to the most demanding clients in the air cargo community.
