Nordic Aviation Group is expanding heavily in Europe and is taking delivery of four A320neos
Nordic Aviation Group, an Estonian state-owned Capacity Provider Airline utilizing two separate commercial operating platforms: Nordica and Xfly, is expanding its business and has opened a new base in Lisbon, Portugal. ATR72 operations started on the 1st of November for TAP Airline, with one unit operated by Xfly. The group is expected to add one more unit to the Lisbon base at the beginning of 2023.
Furthermore, Nordica is recruiting crews in Germany and is aiming to open two new bases: one in Hamburg and the second one in Munich to start A320 operations for a new European customer in March 2023. The airline will increase its fleet by 4 units of A320neo aircraft.
Nordic Aviation Group has currently bases in Tallinn (HQ), Stockholm, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Vilnius, Gällivare and Turku. There are more than 550 employees working in the group, and the company will recruit at least 250 more team members within the coming months. The airline is currently operating 17 aircraft.
